Nero Video

Wonderful video editing and authoring functionality is put at your disposal by Nero via the application Nero Video. A feature rich environment is placed at your fingertips: capture footage from a camera, import video files, capture from TV, add a custom soundtrack, add pictures alongside video, and many other features are offered by Nero Video.

As expected, a setup wizard will guide you through the application's installation process. While installing Nero Video is a fairly simple task, there are a few things that must be mentioned. The setup wizard will tell you that you need to restart your PC. The wizard will want to install Mobogenie on your PC (you can opt out). Once the installation process is over, your browser will open and you will be taken to a “thank you for installing” website.

Launch Nero Video and you will be presented with a prompt that invites you to purchase a license for the full version, enter a serial number and activate the product, or keep using the 15-day trial.
After that you will be presented with a GUI that links to capture & import, edit, create & export functionality.
Since Nero Video is a complex and feature rich tool, there will be a learning curve. Turn to the Help file or the online resources if you have any problems with Nero Video.

As already mentioned, Nero Video has lots of features to offer. Here’s a quick look at the main ones: import video from camera, disc, or hard drive; capture from camera or TV; record directly to disk; choose between Express Movie and Advanced Movie editing mode; mix together videos, images, and music; burn your projects to discs; stream your slideshows to your TV; and more.

Nero Video is free to use for an evaluation period of 15 days. This should be enough time for you to uncover all its features and enough time for you to figure out if you want to purchase a license or not.

Nero Video is just a properly good video editing and authoring tool. The wealth of features is amazing!
